Dr. Cecil F. Brown, DVM
Born: 5/27/1931 in Sandy Mush, NC
Died: 4/426/2019 at home in Seagrove, NC
Dr. Brown served Randolph County, Montgomery County, and surrounding counties for over 50 years as a large and small animal Veterinarian. He also raised Black Angus Cattle along with his Quarter Horses.
Cecil and Betty married in 1993. That was also the year Circle B Farm Quarter Horses started with the first purchase of two fillies from the Krogman Production Sale in September 1993. Also that year, a black stallion, Tee J Fabulous Jack, a grandson of Jackie Bee, and Gold Fingers was purchased from Duane Walker, Tee Jay Quarter Horses in Canton, Kansas. Duane Walker and Jackie Bee are both in the AQHA Hall of Fame.
Over the. years, several trips were made to the Krogman Production Sale. Dr. Brown did love to make the trip to Valentine, Nebraska for this sale and bid on some babies.
Our herd today reflects the mares and stallions that were added to our program and are still being added. Good solid ranch horses that can go in any direction from roping, cutting, ranch work, or as a trail horse.
